The Institute of Economics and Finance of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW), the Institute of Rural and Agricultural Development of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IRWiR PAN) and the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the John Paul II Academy of Applied Sciences in Biała Podlaska, under the patronage of the Association of Agricultural and Agribusiness Economists (SERiA), organised the XXVII Workshop of Agricultural Economists on 19-21 June 2023 in Krasnobród (Lubelskie Voivodeship in Poland).
The main objective of the Workshop is to integrate the community of economists, especially young academics involved in agribusiness and rural development, to deepen knowledge in the area of social sciences, especially in the disciplines of economics and finance and management and quality sciences, and to familiarise young staff with the experiences of scientists with recognised achievements, concerning scientific work (including publication) and scientific advancement.
The workshop was attended by 32 participants from a wide range of research and education centres in Poland, including the Institute of Rural and Agricultural Development of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, the John Paul II Academy of Applied Sciences in Biała Podlaska, the University of Agriculture in Krakow, the University of Rzeszow, the University of Life Sciences in Poznan and the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. Representation of the Ukrainian scientific community at this year’s workshop was a total of seven persons, including two persons from the State Institution “M.I. Dolishniy Institute of Regional Research of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine” (Lviv), three persons from the State Institution “Institute of Economics and Forecasting of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine” (Kyiv), two persons from Lviv National Environmental University
