In Navarra, the SoilValues Community of Practice (CoP) is bringing together farmers, researchers, public authorities, and other value chain actors to explore how carbon farming practices can be adopted and scaled to improve soil health.
Working collaboratively, the CoP is identifying the main barriers to the uptake of these practices while developing practical solutions. Its work focuses on improving soil health knowledge and indicators, understanding available support schemes and carbon credit incentives, and assessing the real costs and benefits of carbon farming for farmers.
