From the 23rd to the 25th of April, All Consortium Partners conveyed in the campus of the University of Wageningen for its 3rd annual meeting. During three days, the Dutch Partners organised two Testing Ground visits ( the first in Belgium and the second in the Netherlands). The meetings had been organised into the Work Packages updates, with many interactive sessions allowing exchange in smaller groups. The Sister Projects InBestSoil and Novasoil have also participated in the annual meeting, by presenting their latest developments. The consortium partners contributed in shape of an interactive workshop to the latest findings of those projects.
The highlight of the annual meeting resulted in two field visits . The first one was organised by ILVO, and allowed the partners to discover the composting plant in Sint-Gillis-Waas, Belgium understanding better the challenges and opportunities of setting up a composting plant. The second Testing Ground visit took place at De Biesterhof Farm, in Millingen an de Rijn, the Netherlands. The Farmer Howard Koster explained alongside with the partners of the farm how they set up a Regenerative farm and their business model. Find out more and watch the videos here!
